Joseph and Omana Soundararaj
Indian Evangelical Mission
Joseph and Omana are involved in the translation of the New Testament in the Madiya language. The Bison Horn Madiyas have a distinct language for themselves which they call as’ Koya Mata’. They are famous for their dance with Bison horn masks, hence the name 'Bison Horn'.
Their language did not have any script. The Lord called Joseph and Omana to translate His word in their language some twenty five years ago. They lived among the Madiyas and learnt their language.
God has enabled them to complete the New Testament in Madiya language. It is to be printed by The Bible Society of India in December and to be out in January 2010.

Paul and Molly Pookkatta
Serving in Mission South Africa
P. P Paul and Molly have just returned to the field after a short home assignment to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year. They have returned to their work with miners visiting Mine Hostels and hospitals and leading three men at the Rustenburg Mine Hospital to the Lord. They are also doing missionary reviews for two couples providing valuable insight and feedback so that they can improve and grow in the ministry. A true blessing to all involved.
Please pray for their son Phillip in school as he prepares for exams.
Pray that they will receive funding to cover their current deficit.
Pray that God will use them to provide wisdom and guidance for the African Evangelical Church, the Evangelical Church of South Africa, and the South African Chinese Covenant Church and continue the work they are doing with these partner organizations.
