Prayer

O LORD, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.

- Psalm 143:1

At ICEFC we know that prayer is an essential part of the life of our church.

Prayer is how we connect with God. It's a time for us to talk to him and to hear from him.

King David is called a man after God's own heart, and in prayer that is what God is really after, our heart. We see in Psalm 143 David's prayer is a cry for mercy. He is seeking God's presence.

God doesn't care if we are perfect or if we use all the "right" words what he wants is for us to come to him honestly, with open hearts, to simply pray.
